About Me
Education & Qualifications:
I bring a wealth of 20+ year experience and a passion for mental health to my practice.
I earned my medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, where a deep interest in patient understanding (biological, psychological, social, emotional, and cultural) led me to psychiatry.
I completed my residency training at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, gaining valuable experience in diverse settings (inpatient, outpatient, residential, and forensic). Ultimately, outpatient care resonated most, allowing me to build lasting therapeutic relationships with my patients.
I am licensed to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California.
I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I am licensed by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
I am a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, recognized by my peers as a leader in the field of psychiatry.
I am Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University, actively contributing to the training of future generations of mental health professionals.
I was honored with the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award at Stanford in 2011.
I am President of the Vietnamese Physician Association of Northern California (VPANC).
